Multi-Activity Programmes are lively and enjoyable, combining English language tuition with a daily programme of fun and interesting activities.
This programme is ideal for students who want to learn English in one of our exciting destinations and meet new friends from all over the world. Outside of class, students enjoy an interesting and varied social programme, which offers the ideal opportunity to mix English language learning with afternoon visits to popular visitor and cultural attractions, a programme of sports and tournaments or other fun activities such as dance, music, drama, or arts and crafts.

The programme “English + Tennis”
An exciting programme, which combines English lessons with tennis tuition in state- of- the art facilities.
English Plus Tennis Camp provides the opportunity to combine English Language learning with professional tennis coaching. Together with our partner, the prestigious David Lloyd Centre in Dublin, we offer training from expert coaches who help students to improve and perfect their tennis skills. The emphasis of the camp is on teaching the right technique through various fun games and drills according to the different levels involved. Students can also participate in a programme of evening and weekend activities.

The programme “English + Golf”
Following the success of past and present Irish golfers we are now offering our students the opportunity to combine their English lessons with golf tuition under the tutelage of a licensed PGA golf professional.
Students can combine their English course with the chance to improve their golf skills. Together with Dun Laoghaire Golf Club we provide golf tuition for our students with licensed PGA golf professionals. Lessons and practice sessions focus on working with woods and irons, set-up, backswing, short game, long game and rules and etiquette of the game. Coaching each day take place on this prestigious, 18-hole course.

The programme “English + Horse-riding”
Ireland has a reputation for excellence in equestrian sports. The English and Horse-Riding programme allows young students to experience this for themselves while also participating English language lessons in the mornings.
The programme of English language tuition combined with horse-riding lessons in one of Ireland’s largest equestrian centres. The Carrickmines Equestrian Centre is located in South Dublin and is easily accessible from all of our junior summer centres. Professional instructors provide coaching in indoor and outdoor arenas and the centre’s extensive farmlands provide an ideal location for trekking and cross-country riding. The horse-riding lessons also cover dressage, polocrosse and stable management.

The programme “AC Milan Camp”
Students can now participate in very popular AC Milan Camp in Dublin. This programme combines learning English with training sessions with professional AC Milan coaches.
Students with a passion for soccer can combine learning English in the mornings with afternoon training sessions with the professional coaches from AC Milan in the afternoon. The objective of the AC Milan Junior Camp is to give world-class soccer training to motivated young players who wish to improve their technical and tactical knowledge of the game. Trained coaches from AC Milan are responsible for the soccer coaching and an official AC Milan Sports kit is included in the course fees.

The programme “Leinster Rugby Camp”
Emerald's popular Leinster Rugby Camp allows young students the opportunity to improve their rugby skills with an award-winning club.
This course is designed for students between the ages of 12 and 18 years and offers young people the possibility to improve their English and their rugby skills in a two-week programme. The camp aims to provide players with a comprehensive rugby-training package, which allows them to experience similar conditions to players at the top level. During their course, players partake in a structured rugby development programme. Emphasis will be placed on skill development, game understanding, activity and enjoyment. In particular, players will develop core rugby skills and learn to perform them under challenging conditions through high class coaching in a professional environment. Coaches are accredited by the Irish Rugby Football Union.

Full afternoon and evening activity programme is organised in Emerald Cultural Institute.
