General information

The Marino Institute of Education Residence is ideally located, combining the convenience of proximity to the city centre and Dublin airport. The campus at Marino Institute of Education consists of beautiful, classically designed and modern buildings, including the student residences, which provide accommodation for over 300 students. Facilities include spacious classrooms and seminar rooms, extensive playing fields, a modern, well-equipped sports hall and a spacious dining area and student canteen.

The grounds and gardens are beautifully landscaped providing an ideal learning environment for both adult and junior students. Visitors to Marino will enjoy and appreciate the quietness and the sense of tranquillity that the grounds and gardens offer.

Multi-activity programme

Multi-Activity Programmes are lively and enjoyable, combining English language tuition with a daily programme of fun and interesting activities.

This programme is ideal for students who want to learn English in one of our exciting destinations and meet new friends from all over the world. Outside of class, students enjoy an interesting and varied social programme, which offers the ideal opportunity to mix English language learning with afternoon visits to popular visitor and cultural attractions, a programme of sports and tournaments or other fun activities such as dance, music, drama, or arts and crafts.

Week course includes:
  • 20 English language lessons;
  • a wide range of activities in the afternoons and evenings;
  • 1 full-day excursion every weekend.

Activities

Full afternoon and evening activity programme is organised in Emerald Cultural Institute. This is the sample of multi-activity programme: city orientation and visit to an Irish pub, Introduction to Gaelic sports, Emerald chat zone, Introduction& worksheet, visit to Trinity College & The Book of Kells', Irish dancing, workshop, sport/film, visit to GAA museum & Croke park, stadium evening programme, Dublin welcome & icebreaker, viking, treasure hunt, Irish music, African drumming and themed disco.

Мои мальчики очень довольны
Летом 2017 я возила группу детей в Emerald Cultural Institute. Что понравилось в школе: подход к тестированию и обучению серьезный, понимая, что тестирование может не дать точных результатов, могут на второй неделе перевести в группу, более соответствующую уровню ребенка. Уроки групп-лидерам посещать у них не принято, но занятиями дети в целом были довольны.
Вторая половина дня всегда четко планировалась. Вечером тоже почти всегда были интересно: концерты, представления, кино, дискотеки. Экскурсии были организованы хорошо, гиды могли быть профессиональные или работники школы сами выступали в этой роли (они всегда готовились). 
Мы жили в резиденции. Все работники без исключения очень доброжелательны и терпеливы, всегда готовы помочь. Дети всегда под присмотром. Мои мальчики очень довольны. Мне тоже было спокойно. Мы бы поехали еще.
