The Twin English Centre in Eastbourne is ideally located in a quiet residential Avenue, but still close to the centre of this busy coast resort town. Twin's Eastbourne centre is a member of EnglishUK and accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English. Every year the school attracts hundreds of students from all over the world.
The Twin English Centre in Eastbourne is a large, elegant, fully modernized 19th century town house with a huge garden exclusively for the use of the students. The facilities include ten brightly lit, spacious classrooms, an IT suite offering free internet access, an inexpensive cafeteria and a common room where students can meet and socialise after lessons.

General English Course
The Twin Summer Centre materials have been selected to provide a modern, structured learning experience based on an exciting programme which develops a range of skills, focusing on speaking and listening and reading, builds confidence in using and understanding English, expands vocabulary, improves pronunciation.
Each week covers a few topics. This provides continuity, gives students an opportunity to practise their English in different contexts and situations, and enables links to the activity programme. There are drama activities to help students with their speaking, and having an emphasis on pronunciation.
Week course includes:
- 15 English language lessons;
- full multi activity programme;
- 1 full-day excursion.
Activities
During the day our summer centre programmes are packed full of exciting and fun activities for the students to enjoy. Typical day activities for each of the centres might include:town tour and orientation of Eastbourne, walk to Beachy Head, towner Art Gallery, treasure hunt on the beach, cinema, bowling, souvenir shopping, swimming at Eastbourne College and sports. Typical evening activities might include games at school, discos and blind date.
Activity programmes include full day excursions to London and Brighton. This allows students to see the best tourist attractions and sights in the UK near to where they are staying.
