General English Course
This English programme is ideal for students who wish to both learn English and make the most out of our afternoon and evening social activities programme. Classes are always small, with a maximum of 15 students. This enables our teachers to focus on individual aims and interests. All students receive their very own work book where they can keep a record of their work in class.
Some morning English lessons help to prepare for upcoming excursions. Students are taught essential language and given the background to landmarks so they can make the most of their day out.
Week course includes:
- 15 English language lessons;
- daily activities;
- 2 excursions per week.
Intensive General English
his course is designed for students who are determined to improve their English quickly and still enjoy most of the exciting social activities. Programme includes 28 hours English per week.
English Plus Tennis
Structured tennis coaching by a qualified Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) coach. The tennis option includes three afternoon sessions each week at the College’s fantastic tennis facilities: 18 high quality tennis courts within the campus.
English Plus Watersports
Students can complement their course with 3 afternoon watersports sessions: sailing, kayaking or raft building.The magnificent Ardingly Reservoir is located within the school campus.
Activities
Afternoon and evening entertainment includes getting-to-know-you games, theatre, sports and fashion shows. Cheltenham Ladies’ College is lucky to have a fantastic arts centre which is the perfect location for evening activities, as talent show, disco, Quiz nights, film nights, sports tournaments and many more options.
