Horsham College

General information

Horsham College is a boarding school, which occupies luxurious buildings in classic Victorian style. The school was founded in London in 1553 and later gained a new location is two miles from the city of Horsham. At first glance, school buildings hit by their grandeur and magnificence. The huge campus of red brick with high arched windows and wonderful turrets is considered the largest among all territories of the UK schools. Infrastructure of the campus includes 16 residences, a dance studio, theater, art school, sports fields and a modern gym with a swimming pool.

Programme «Summer holidays in England»

This English programme is ideal for students who wish to both learn English and make the most out of afternoon and evening social activities programme. The course consists of 15 English language lessons per week (60 minutes per lesson), in international classes of up to 15 students. The course is designed to help students improve communication skills. Therefore lessons include plenty of opportunities for students to use the language. Classroom activities include role-play, pair-work, group-work, group projects, surveys, questionnaires and games.

Activities and excursions

Young students can practice language skills outside the classrooms. For them a special international club was established. Here children communicate, talk about their home countries, create joint projects. The program includes 3 full day excursions every two weeks to London, Oxford and Brighton. In the evening children are waiting for quizzes, contests, discos, karaoke, talent shows, sports and outdoor games.

Accommodation

The school has a large dining room, where students have breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as 8 residences, which offers accommodation in standard rooms for 1-3 persons. The showers and toilets are located on each floor. The common recreation room with TV (in each residential building) is at the disposal of students.
